WISDOM FOR TRANSITION
by Bill Burns:
The new season begins with the Feast of Trumpets, so
we are in transition from one year to another.
It is a time period in which we, as Christians,
move into the next season.
This time of transition is the period of time
from Rosh Hashanah to January of the next calendar year.
The Purpose of Transition is two-fold:
1.
To make sure you are receiving the promises of
the old season.
2.
To prepare yourself to move into the new season
by paying attention to the prophetic word and the signs that God has given to
confirm His Word.
Mark 16:20
And they went out and preached everywhere, the
Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs.
Don’t forget that you must possess the promises God has given, and be reminded
that the enemy will try to steal or delay those promises.
John 10:10
The thief does not come except to steal and to
kill, and to destroy.
I have come that they may have life, and that
they may have it more abundantly.
This Is a Time for Faith to be activated because the promises are yes (to be
understood) and amen (to be received).
1 John 5:4
For whatever is born of God overcomes the
world.
And this is the victory that has over the world—our
faith.
Promise:
3 John verse 2:
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all
things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
Prosper is to be successful in all things and to be in
health.
This will be a season of reward for faithfulness in
the face of hardships.
Isaiah 40:10
Behold, the Lord God shall come with a strong
hand, and His arm shall rule for Him; behold, His reward is with Him, and His
work before Him.
The Anointing
The anointing for this season is strength for victory, and will bring the power
required for breakthrough and victory.
Nehemiah 8:10
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.”
This anointing will bring the joy of the Lord for
warfare and victory.
Joy enables you to fight the good fight of
faith so that victory is assured.
2 Corinthians 2:14
Now thanks be to God who always leads us in
triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in
every place.
Psalm 92:4
For you, Lord, have made me glad through Your
work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands.
Psalm 47:1
Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples!
Shout to God with the voice of triumph!
Declare your victory!
This new anointing will bring confidence, which
is exactly what you need in the time of transition so that you may receive God’s
promises, and to position yourself for the journey of the new season.
Don’t forget this word of wisdom:
Ephesians 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places
in Christ.
Ephesians 1:13-14
In Him you also trusted, after you heard the
word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you
were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our
inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of
His glory.
Stay connected!
The
Bridge by which we
cross over into the new requires that you leave the baggage of
the past behind.
Philippians 3:13-14
Brethren, I do not count myself to have
apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and
reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for
the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Wisdom for Transition:
Set things in order.
Deal with unbelief, failures, disappointment,
and discouragement.
It’s not over.
You still have this time frame of transition to
receive all that God has promised you so that you will be ready and equipped for
the next season!
Ephesians 6:10
Finally,
my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
The Trumpet: The Lord has said, “Behold, I will do a new thing,
now
it will spring forth; shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
Go
boldly into this new season with
new anointing, and trust Me to lead you into the blessings and fullness of it!
