Revelation is progressive. When God speaks a word to His people, it is rarely all inclusive regarding that which He is about to do. It has been my experience that the Lord takes delight in the fellowship that takes place as He interacts with His people. Because He takes delight in this fellowship through which He imparts "a word" to His people, He does not give us the whole plan all at once.
It seems as thought He would rather give us a series of words, which will reveal His agenda, to see how spiritually awake we really are, and to see how hungry we are to know Him and to know what He is about to do. Having personally come to this understanding of the Master's method of operation, I like to periodically review the words that He has spoken that I might understand the whole.
Today, He spoke to me the words "Zion's Fire is about to fall." That's it! That's all He said. So at this point I must become a spiritual Sherlock Holmes and examine the evidence. The evidence is that which has already been spoken.
The first thing that I must do is establish context. Context has to do with this present case that I am working on, which will reveal the meaning of the word I received, by establishing the environment in which this event will occur. The event: Zion's fire will fall!
The spiritual environment in which the Lord has been speaking lately is that of "the Third Day." Zion is the spiritual habitation that the Third Day church will dwell in. Zion is the rebuilt tabernacle of David. The Lord has said that the church is in transition as she crosses over into the Third Day, and He has spoken that Zion is the destination of the Third Day remnant.
Hebrews 12:22-23 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect.
Zion is the habitation of the church without spot or wrinkle, the "just men made perfect" by the Holy Spirit.
Now that we have established context, let's look for more evidence. The Lord recently gave Me a word in which He said that Psalm 101 is for the first five months of the year 2001. He then said that Psalm 110 has to do with the last seven months of 2001.
Psalm 101 has to do with the consecration of the Third Day church. Only those who submit to this present work of purification by the Holy Spirit will be able to dwell in the City of The Lord, Zion. Those who enter Zion will then dwell in Zion according to Psalm 110. Psalm 110 reveals the Day of the Lord's power, the Third Day that has been birthed from the womb of the morning, a new day.
Several weeks ago the Lord spoke one word to me three times in one day. The word was "symposium." This was a word that I did not know the meaning of. Marsha and I had been considering an early summer conference for this year, and so when I finally looked up the word "symposium," we had confirmation for the conference. A symposium is a gathering where several specialists give short speeches on related subjects.
So, we decided to have a three-day conference on June 1-3. At the time we set the schedule we did not realize that Pentecost Sunday is on June 3. (The actual feast day is on May 29th). Light bulbs are now coming on. The first five months of preparation end on May 31st, and the last seven months having to do with Psalm 110 begin on June 1st, during the season of Pentecost.
Okay, back to Mr. Webster to examine the other meaning for symposium: a convivial party (as after a banquet in ancient Greece). Most of those parties were drinking parties. Pentecost in Acts chapter 2 was a drinking party...drinking the new wine of the Holy Spirit.
An interesting thing has occurred the last couple of times the Lord has given me a specific word that I had to look up. Both the word above and below the word I looked up in the dictionary also went with the word I looked up. Let's see if this pattern holds again. The word above symposium is symphony. A symphony is an orchestra, a group of musicians who play together in harmony. A spiritual symphony would be those who are like-minded and flow together in the Spirit -- like those in the Upper Room on the Day of Pentecost.
The word below symposium is symptom, which is a sign of change in a body's functions or appearance. So, we have a like-minded, flow-together, Third Day company of believers upon whom "Zion's fire is about to fall." And, the function and appearance of the Body of Christ is about to change as a result of a new outpouring of the Spirit. Several have recently prophesied that we are about to experience another Pentecost. I concur.
The Lord recently spoke that a new revelation of the power of the blood would be birthed in the hearts of His people. Also, three years ago on May 5, 1998, this word came, "I am restoring the revelation of My blood, the power of My blood to cleanse and bring forth forgiveness (first five months), and then comes the wind of Pentecost (last seven months) to establish the authority of My blood. Every bondage will be broken, and resurrection life will spring forth." Three years ago points to the Third Day, this present day.
The earmark of the Third Day is resurrection power, and it is coming on the wind of Pentecost, and the Third Day church is about to experience the "fire of Zion." Glory to God in the highest!
On December 3, 2000, the Lord said that the Third Day church will walk in a new dimension of "glorious faith," a faith that will produce resurrection power. On December 5, 2000, He spoke of the transference of anointings that the church would receive. These anointings are those that the forerunners who have gone before us in previous generations. They are those who wore powerful mantles of anointing and established authoritative geographical places of dominion in this country.
It just could be that these things will happen this year at the time of Pentecost. The Master has spoken, and the revelation has been progressive. We have examined the evidence, and it points to Pentecost at which time the Third Day church (Zion) will experience "Zion's fire," a fresh fire of resurrection power, which comes with the wind of Pentecost.
Let us allow the Holy Spirit to prepare us for that which is coming, and may each of us be found in the Upper Room in this, the season of Pentecost that is before us. Amen.
