January 15, 2003:

This word is an addendum to The Thrones of David and 2003--A Year of Divine Grace and will add to the revelation of those words and define the war of the kings. 2003 will be a year in which the kings of the Third Day will go to war against the kings (rulers) in the heavenlies (spirit world). This year will be a year in which the Lord will impart His divine grace to His kings, which kings we are. The prophetic number for this coming year is five -- the sum total of 2003.

The number five prophetically is the number of grace, which is the favor of God. The Lord is going to anoint His kings with great favor in this year. This great grace will release a divine impartation to His people that will enable them to pull down the thrones (strongholds) of the rulers of darkness, which have been established by ancient curses over specific geographical areas. The Lord led me to examine the scriptural patterns established by the number five. These patterns reveal how God's divine favor will be imparted and will define the nature of the war.

We will begin this search for the wisdom of God with Psalm 5:1-3 Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my meditation. Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.

This is a psalm of David, and the kings of the Third Day live in Zion, which is the Tabernacle of David. David is speaking to God (his King) and is asking God to hear his voice, his words. Verse three reveals the prophetic timetable as it applies to this generation. It is the morning of the Third Day when our words will receive the anointing of God's power, which will become the five smooth stones of David that will slay the giants (rulers of darkness).

In verses four through ten David prophesies defeat to the wicked (Satan's kingdom and those who serve him). This includes those who are against the David's of this generation. Verses eleven and twelve declare the third-day blessing of God's great grace (favor) on those who serve the King. Psalm 5:11-12 But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You. For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.

The favor of the Lord will produce great joy, and this joy of the Lord will provide strength for the battle. This will be a battle that the saints will enjoy as they begin to have victory over their enemies. 2003 will be a year in which the Church will take back some of the spiritual ground that has been lost to Satan and his servants. Whenever God's people get ready to take land from the enemy they have to defeat the five kings of Satan.

Moses had to defeat the five kings of the Midianites (see Numbers 31:1-8). Joshua defeated the five kings of the Amorites (see Joshua 10:16-26). David and his mighty men defeated five giants. David killed Goliath (1 Samuel 17:50), and his mighty men killed Goliath's four brothers (2 Samuel 21:15-22 and 1Chronicles 20:5).

The Weapons of Our Warfare:
The weapons of the kings of the Third Day will be the five smooth stones of David. The stones of David were made smooth by the water running over them. Water is a type of the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
John 7:37-39 On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

The stones then represent the words, which are anointed by the Holy Spirit that come out of our spirit man (heart). I am speaking of prophetic proclamation -- words of power spoken by the Holy Spirit through the mouths of God's kings. These words are the sword of the Spirit, the same sword that Jesus destroys Satan's armies with (Revelation 19:15). The sword of the Spirit is comprised of the five stones of David, which are the five speaking gifts of the Holy Spirit. First Corinthians chapter twelve identifies these as the word of wisdom, word of knowledge, prophecy, tongues and interpretation of tongues. These five stone of David will be used to establish the stone kingdom.

The Anointing Factor:
In Matthew chapter 25 the kingdom of heaven is likened to ten virgins awaiting the return of the bridegroom. Five of the virgins were foolish because they didn't have enough oil for their lamps. The oil represents the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The five wise virgins recognized the importance of the anointing oil. The wise kings of this day understand that the third-day anointing is absolutely necessary to empower the five stones by which the enemy will be defeated. They know that the Lord has called them to be awake in these days in which the kingdoms of this world will begin to be brought under His rule. As joint heirs, the Bride (kings) will begin to rule over geographical areas as they take dominion away from the enemy. These victories will come through the power of the spoken anointed words of the kings of God. It will not be by the might or power of men (natural ability), but it will be by the power of the anointing that is given by the Holy Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). Isaiah 10:27 tells us that the yoke (of bondage) is destroyed (broken) because of the anointing oil.

Exodus chapter 30 tells us that the anointing oil is made from five components. Exodus 30:22-25 Moreover the LORD spoke to Moses, saying: "Also take for yourself quality spices; five hundred shekels of liquid myrrh, half as much sweet-smelling cinnamon (two hundred and fifty shekels), two hundred and fifty shekels of sweet-smelling cane, five hundred shekels of cassia, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, and a hin of olive oil. And you shall make from these a holy anointing oil, an ointment compounded according to the art of the perfumer. It shall be a holy anointing oil."

The Word of Our Testimony:
The word of our testimony is the five stones of David, which is the word of the Lord spoken by the anointed kings of God. It will be through the Word of God that the enemy is overcome. Revelation 12:11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." The anointing oil will only be placed upon those who are first covered by the blood. This truth can be viewed through the Old Testament shadow of the consecration of the priests. Exodus 29:21-21 tells us that the blood is first put on those who will minister for God, and then the anointing oil is placed as a witness to the blood.

Satan is overcome by the power of the blood of Jesus when the anointing is placed upon the words of our testimony. The stone kingdom will begin to be established in this world when the kings of God (joint heirs) begin to take up and use David's five smooth stones.

The Stone Kingdom:
Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!" The kingdoms of this world will be crushed by the stone kingdom of Jesus Christ. Daniel had a night vision in which he saw four great beasts (Daniel 7:1-7). The fourth beast represents the ruling kingdom at the end of the age and the kingdoms of this world that Satan is ruling over. Verse twelve tells us that the first three beasts and their dominions will be in manifestation at the end of the age (for a season).

Nebuchadnezzar also had a dream of the four kingdoms that would rule the world. The fourth beast is the same as the fourth kingdom that Daniel saw as the feet of iron and clay that was a part of the image that Nebuchadnezzar saw. Daniel 2:40 "And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break in pieces and crush all the others."

Daniel 7:23 "Thus he said: 'The fourth beast shall be a fourth kingdom on earth, which shall be different from all other kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, trample it and break it in pieces. The ten horns are ten kings who shall arise from this kingdom. And another shall rise after them; he shall be different from the first ones, and shall subdue three kings."

The fourth kingdom will consume the first three beast kingdoms that had their dominion established again at the end of the age. The fourth kingdom will rule over the kingdoms of this world until it is struck by the fifth kingdom, which is what I have referred to as the stone kingdom that Daniel saw. Daniel 2:31-35 "You, O king, were watching; and behold, a great image! This great image, whose splendor was excellent, stood before you; and its form was awesome. This image's head was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth."

The fifth kingdom is the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ. Daniel 2:44 "And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever."

Daniel 7:27 "Then the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him."

The stones of David will now be used to begin to remove Satan's dominion over the earth. The power of the spoken word will once again be established according to the New Testament pattern.

The Fifth Book:
The book of Acts is the fifth book of the New Testament. This book records the acts of the Holy Spirit through the acts (actions) of the anointed people of God. I like to look at Acts as an acronym for Anointed Christians Terrorizing Satan. The book of Acts is the blueprint for Christian activity and ministry. We must once again return to the pattern (prototype) and allow the Holy Spirit to empower us and lead us into God's purposes for these days.

The enemy stands ready to threaten us and challenge us for the right to rule with Jesus as His joint heirs. We must pray as the early Church did when it entered into the warfare of that generation. Acts 4:29-33 "Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus." And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul; neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.

If we will pray and believe as they did, the events that occurred in Acts chapter five will be repeated in this generation. Selah! The war of the kings has begun. Will you, like David, take up the five smooth stones and run towards the enemy? Is there not a cause? And, is this cause not the cause of the King of Glory, and does He not want to see the enemy fall? If you will begin with a smooth stone it will become a sword in your hand by which the head (rule) of the enemy will be removed.

1 Samuel 17:45-47 Then David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the LORD will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. Then all this assembly shall know that the LORD does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord's, and He will give you into our hands."

The Year of The Kings:
This will be a year of the coming forth of the kings of the earth as the joint heirs of Jesus Christ. All of God's people are called to be kings of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ (see Romans 8:17 and Revelation 1:6). This honor is not for a select few; it is for all who will believe God's word. The kings of the Third Day will be released in this year to rule with Christ over the enemy.

Many of these kings who are also in the five-fold ministry will experience an increase in their level of anointing. This will be especially true for those who teach their people how to wage spiritual warfare against Satan's kingdom.

In my vision of the graduation of the kings I saw the Lord placing crowns on His kings. The words "joint heirs" was inscribed on the crowns. The crown represented the right to rule with Jesus over the thrones of darkness of this day. The crown of the joint heir represents the five crowns that are identified in scripture. They are:
1. The Crown of Life (James 1:12 and Revelation 2:10)
2. The Crown of Righteousness (2 Timothy 4:8)
3. The Crown of Glory (1 Peter 5:4)
4. The Crown of Rejoicing (1 Thessalonians 2:19)
5. The Incorruptible (eternal) Crown (1 Corinthians 9:25)

The names of these five crowns reveal the promises of God to those who will wear the crown of the joint heir. The time for the War of the Kings has come, and it is written that it is in the spring of the year when kings go out to battle (2 Samuel 11:1). It is now time for the third-day kings to prepare for the War of the Kings.
