THE FIFTH JUDGMENT THUNDER

By Bill Burns

The seven thunders shall roar and the lightning bolts of the fire of the word in the mouths of God's servants will produce the spirit of burning and will strike the demon powers that rule over the land (ground).

We are now living at the end of the age when the sons of glory will be made manifest. These sons of God's glory will pronounce seven judgments against Satan and his works. (Psalm 149:5-9) This will take place by prophetic proclamation to loose those who are bound in some measure by Satan's rule as the prince of this world.

Curses have been pronounced upon the land by the ancients, and those who operate in witchcraft and sorcery and by the shedding of innocent blood. Some of the lands, mountains, forests and valleys have been dedicated to demon gods by the American Indians, Spanish explorers, Mormons, Satanists, New Agers and others. The shedding of innocent blood through murder and abortion has defiled the land. The blood sacrifices of Satanists is crying out from the ground as Abel's blood did. Genesis 4:8-10, "Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him. Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" He said, "I do not know. Am I my brother's keeper?" And He said, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries out to Me from the ground."

The blood of the martyrs also cries out. Revelation 6:9-10, "When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?"

In Revelation chapter 10 the mighty angel who held in HIS hand the book of the judgment of the seven thunders roared. HIS feet were placed on the land and the sea to re-establish HIS dominion of planet earth. In Revelation 11:15 this announcement was made. "Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"

In Malachi 4:5-6 the Lord states that His Elijahs will come before the first coming of Christ (the Great Day) and the second coming of Christ (the Dreadful Day). The hearts of the fathers and children turned to each other speaks of restoration. Acts 3:21 speaks of the "restoration of all things which God has spoken by the mouths of all His holy prophets since the world began." Malachi chapter 4 verse 6 ends with God saying, "Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse."

So He is sending His Elijahs to break the curses of defilement upon the land so that He doesn't have to completely destroy His creation. We are waiting for a new heaven and earth which will first be purged by the fire of God (spirit of burning) in His servants mouths and then His consuming fires of purification will come. 2 Peter 3:10, "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up." Restoration of God's creation will then be complete.

Breaking these curses upon the land that have come by the shedding of innocent blood (abortion) will turn the hearts of the fathers to the unborn children and many will stop murdering their children. (Malachi 4:6)

The narrative in 2 Kings chapter 13 takes on a prophetic command to those who the Lord is now raising up to break the ancient curses, and those of our generation. Elisha is telling King Joash how to have victory over his enemies by a prophetic enactment that makes a declaration of victory, which breaks the curse of destruction. 2 Kings 13:15-19, "And Elisha said to him, "Take a bow and some arrows." So he took himself a bow and some arrows. Then he said to the king of Israel, "Put your hand on the bow." So he put his hand on it, and Elisha put his hands on the king's hands. And he said, "Open the east window"; and he opened it. Then Elisha said, "Shoot"; and he shot. And he said, "The arrow of the Lord's deliverance and the arrow of deliverance from Syria; for you must strike the Syrians at Aphek till you have destroyed them." Then he said, "Take the arrows"; so he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, "Strike the ground"; so he struck three times, and stopped. And the man of God was angry with him, and said, "You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times."

"Strike the ground!" Today, that will take place with the fiery arrows of God's indignation as declared by the word of God from the mouths of His prophets. These fiery arrows will produce the spirit of burning that will break the curse and cause Satan to let go of the ground (his authoritative right to rule over the ground).

Let us remember Joash's mistake...he struck the ground only three times, and he only had victory over the enemy three times. Let us strike the ground as often as the Holy Spirit moves us to.

Unfortunately, many don't believe that the curses have any power. For those who are skeptical, I suggest that you read 2 Samuel chapter 21. There was a famine in the land (3 years) when David was king. So David inquired of the Lord as to the reason. The Lord said it was because Saul had killed the Gibeonites. David and Israel were living under a curse that Saul brought forth by shedding innocent blood.

Some would question the validity of breaking curses by prophetic proclamation, but what does the word of God say? Ezekiel 36:1-7, "And you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, 'O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD! Thus says the Lord GOD: Because the enemy has said of you, Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession, therefore prophesy, and say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD: Because they made you desolate and swallowed you up on every side, so that you became the possession of the rest of the nations, and you are taken up by the lips of talkers and slandered by the people; therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD! Thus says the Lord GOD to the mountains, the hills, the rivers, the valleys, the desolate wastes, and the cities that have been forsaken, which became plunder and mockery to the rest of the nations all around; therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Surely I have spoken in My burning jealousy against the rest of the nations and against all Edom, who gave My land to themselves as a possession, with whole-hearted joy and spiteful minds, in order to plunder its open country. Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say to the mountains, the hills, the rivers, and the valleys, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I have spoken in My jealousy and My fury, because you have borne the shame of the nations. Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: I have raised My hand in an oath that surely the nations that are around you shall bear their own shame."

Verse 6 says, "Prophesy concerning the land...say to the mountains, the hills, the rivers and the valleys...thus says the Lord God." His fury is against the curses which have brought shame to the nations.

Again, as in all of the thunders, the Lord will raise up those who will proclaim liberty, and He will reveal the strongholds which have been established by curses which have defiled the land, and He will send them forth with His word in their mouths.

Consider the Apostle Paul's sermon on Mars Hill. Acts 17:16 says Paul's "spirit was provoked within him." So will those who are now being raised up to speak within the boundaries of their appointed places because this is the pre-appointed time. Acts 17:22-31, "Then Paul stood in the midst of the Areopagus and said, "Men of Athens, I perceive that in all things you are very religious; for as I was passing through and considering the objects of your worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Therefore, the One whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you: God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. Nor is He worshiped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, 'For we are also His offspring.' Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man's devising. Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead."

It is true that the religious will mock this message, but some will hear. As I finish this message, I am aware of a great storm coming. I can see the distant lightning flashes, and I can hear the roar of the glorious One mounted upon a white stallion; His name is the Word of God. Again the roar of deafening thunder comes now, seven in all, and above the roar of thunder the King's voice: Who will plead My cause as David did against Goliath? Who will go and speak My words? Is there not a cause? The nations are bound by the curses of soothsayers of this world (1 Samuel 17:46). Will you not strike the enemy and take his head (right of rule) from him? I am calling forth My mighty men, those who will declare with David, "I come in the name of the Lord of Hosts; this day the Lord will strike you." For you have defiled the land and you have cursed the inheritance of My people.

Take courage, My people, for the battle belongs to the Lord, and I will delivery the enemy into your hands. But, you would say to me, when, Lord? When will the enemy fall? It will happen, My people, when you cast the stone as David did.

The smooth stones of David represent the prophetic word which strikes the heads of Satan's rule. Didn't My servant, Peter, declare that you are living stones? Do you not remember when Peter said by prophetic proclamation, "You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God?" (Matthew 16:16) Was it not upon the boulder (rock) of Peter's revelation that I declared, "The gates of hell will not prevail against My church?" And, isn't it true that Simon became Peter (petros) a stone in the hand of his God, made smooth in the hand of His Master?

Will you become a living stone in My hand? Remember, My chosen ones, a stone has no power by itself, but when it is found in the Shepherd's pouch then in My sling you shall become the weapon of My warfare.

I say it is time to arise and shine in the kingdom of My Father. Blow the trumpet in Zion. Wake up the mighty men and loose the captives. Strike the ground, My people, until the curse is broken.

Today, as of this writing, is Tisha B'Ab, the very day when the temples were destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar and the Romans. Will it happen again a third time, or will the mighty ones arise and rebuild the waste places? The Day of the Lord comes, the Lion of Judah is about to roar from Zion. May it be that we are found dwelling in Zion, the holy mountain of God, for we are His temple. Selah.
