SONS OF THE REVOLUTION

This morning I was awakened at 2:22 a.m., and today's date is 2-22-2002. The Lord then began to speak to me about the significance of these numbers as they relate to the season that we presently live in.

We are living in the first prophetic minutes of the Third Day. In these first minutes of the morning of the Third Day the Lord has been preparing and training the firstborn sons of the Third Day for battle.

There are eight two's in today's date and the time of the morning in which I was awakened. Prophetically, eight is the number of new beginnings signifying that we are entering into a new season. The sum total of the eight two's is sixteen, which is two eights, signifying a double portion.

The double portion is representative of the firstborn sons of the Third Day. The firstborn sons of Israel (in scripture) received a double portion of the family inheritance and became both the natural and spiritual leaders of the family. I believe that this word has to do with both the natural and spiritual war that is about to take place on the earth and in the heavenlies.

Today (2-22-02) ABC News carried a story from Reuters entitled, "Alarmed Annan Calls For New Thinking in Mideast." In the article it was stated that 273 Israelis have died since September, 2000. The Third Day of Christ (third one-thousand years since His birth) began in September, 2000, and 273 is the number of the firstborn (see Numbers 3:46-48).

In the natural war, the 273 Israelis that have died represent the firstborn martyrs of the Third Day. We have seen an escalation in the natural war (first the natural) and now the spiritual war of the Third Day will begin.

The warriors of the morning have been in training since September, 2000, and it is now time for the army of the Lord to assemble for battle. The time frame (September 2000-2001) was a time of preparation for war, and the necessity for the preparation was highlighted on September 11, 2001. This time frame within the Third Day of Christ is referred to by the prophet Nahum and is called the Day of Preparation.

Nahum 2:1 He who scatters has come up before your face. Man the fort! Watch the road! Strengthen your flanks! Fortify your power mightily.
Nahum 2:2 For the LORD will restore the excellence of Jacob Like the excellence of Israel, For the emptiers have emptied them out And ruined their vine branches.
Nahum 2:3 The shields of his mighty men are made red, The valiant men are in scarlet. The chariots come with flaming torches In the day of his preparation, And the spears are brandished.

Verse three tells us that the mighty men of God will be revealed in the Day of Preparation for war against Satan's hordes. Nahum also refers to this day as the Day of Trouble.

Nahum 1:6 Who can stand before His indignation? And who can endure the fierceness of His anger? His fury is poured out like fire, And the rocks are thrown down by Him.
Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him.

Victory is assured, and the Lord is calling His army into battle. It is time to take up the sword of the Spirit and run to the battle, for this is the time of decision in the Day of the Lord.

Joel 3:9 Proclaim this among the nations: "Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, Let all the men of war draw near, Let them come up.
Joel 3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords And your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, 'I am strong.'"
Joel 3:11 Assemble and come, all you nations, And gather together all around. Cause Your mighty ones to go down there, O LORD.
Joel 3:12 "Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations.
Joel 3:13 Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, go down; For the winepress is full, The vats overflow; For their wickedness is great."
Joel 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

While I was still musing on the word that the Lord had given me, Marsha was receiving the following word from the Lord. This was before I shared with her what the Spirit was speaking to me.

SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND

Words from the Lord through Marsha Burns

February 22, 2002: You have been set aside for this time, called and
anointed to do the work of the kingdom in this hour. You have been waiting
to be released into this Day, and your wait is nearly over. You have been in
a time of preparation and training, but now I am calling you out of the
reserves into active duty. Do not be afraid, for you are completely able and
ready to do the job. You have been brought to this place of spiritual
maturity that is absolutely necessary to the task ahead of you. There is a
new level of efficiency that you are about to be released into where you can
get  twice as much accomplished with half the effort. Rejoice in this time,
for this will be supernatural and anything but mundane.

Today is also George Washington's birthday. George was a firstborn son of the war for the independence of America. He was a son of the birthing of the Republic, and he was a son of the revolution.

The Spirit of the Lord is calling the sons of the revolution of this day to their battle positions. The instruction has been given, "Man the fort, watch the road, prepare for battle, fortify your power mightily for the weapons of your warfare are mighty through God. You are the mighty men of this day; you are the sons of revolution against the bondage of the religion of men. You are the sons of the revolution against Satan's strongholds. I say, rise up and gird yourselves with strength. Go forth and turn back the battle at the gates of Zion, My fortified city. The heavenly host has been summoned, and they are ready to be sent forth to fight on your behalf. At My command they shall go to battle with you, and the sound of their chariots shall be heard throughout the heavens. The one who has scattered My people shall now be assaulted by the overflowing flood of My anointing and My glory which rest upon the sons of the revolution, and I shall lead My mighty men into victory."

George Washington had a vision in which he saw three great wars that were fought on American soil. Two of those wars (the Revolutionary War and the Civil War) have already been fought. The third war belongs to the Third Day and is soon to be fought. The physical war began on September 11, 2001, and will escalate even as the war in Israel has. It could very well be that the war on terrorism could lead to the Ezekiel 38 war and the invasion of America as George Washington saw it. It is interesting that our current president's name is George W. I believe that he is a son of the revolution of this day in which he is fighting against the tyranny of terrorism.

This war is both a natural and a spiritual war, but the victory will be won in the heavenlies as the sons of this age war against the rulers of the darkness of this age. The trumpet is being sounded in Zion, and the Lord is giving voice before His army, "Rise up, you sons of the revolution; the final battle is here!"
