I’ve read the prayer requests and replies and have prayed, yet I have sensed that we need to be reminded that we are not victims of life’s circumstances. And, this prayer forum is not for the purpose of propagating self-pity or for focusing our attention on the problems, people, and tragedies of life. Its purpose is to elicit agreement in coming before the throne of God, in the name of Jesus, by His Holy Spirit and to pray in faith with no doubt that God hears and answers our prayers.

We have the power to overcome the flesh, the world and the devil. When we bring our prayers before the Almighty God of the Universe, will we not then rise up in faith to receive His answer? Jesus never brought anyone chicken soup, commiserated with them, or left them in their helpless and hopeless condition. He simply said, over and over again, “Arise and walk; Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house; Little girl, I say to you, arise; Arise, go your way, your faith has made you well.” He never left anyone in a mess, but they each had to exercise faith and then take the next step to overcome.

John 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Romans 12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

I don’t want us to dump down in the flesh in this forum; we need to raise a standard, rise up in the Spirit of the Lord, and make a difference.

2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

When you approached your circumstances from being the victim you will forever be that .God called us to be an OVERCOMER.To be an overcomer is to be clothed with His righteousness ,to walk in any given circumstance with His authority and stature. As a son or daughter of the most High God it is time to Rise up and take yr place and walk in who God called you to be!!Isaiah 52 the Lord says Wake up and clothe yourself with strength ,put on your priestly garments (authority and stature) and remove the slave bands from your neck (deception ,lies). Here God adress the body to take action.

Hello! It seems like the 'prayer' site gets the majority hits - showing the many needs out there. As I've read over each prayer request I've prayed and I've read some good prayers that were lifted up by others. Many of the prayer requests bothered me because I knew the demons at work. I don't know how many are aware and knowledgeable about the demonic. We here at Faith Tabernacle have had countless messages on the works of the enemy: how to recognize the attacks; knowing the specific demon at work; and how to come against them in our lives. We have been blessed with this teaching over and over and still, I'm ashamed to say, we have to be told again until we really catch on and have real victory! Once again Marsha had an awesome message on generational curses this past Sunday. She has posted how we can take ourselves through deliverance on the Spiritual Warfare site....She posted just today about binding and loosing!........we need to know these things if we truly want victory over 'every' situation that we are facing.....We need to recognize the devil's part in every thing that we are being attacked with today. It's crucial that we take these teachings about the demonic seriously! I don't care what were facing! victory is assured when we know who were fighting: doing it in the Spirit; and in complete faith. I'm not a teacher so I really would encourage everyone to tap into the teachings and the truth! that God has given to His anointed!

Prayer of agreement is powerful and anointed! but so is coming against the demon (demons) coming against you - your families!! We have been called the army of God..... armies 'fight'! I am preaching to myself today as I see the attacks against myself and my family! We will win! but not if we shrink back in fear and unbelief!!

Hey Marsha, I am new in this forum but have been getting many prophesied messages from your web-site over the years and have been so blessed by it. What you have posted here is a word of encouragement to me. My husband and I are going through a transitioning from one State to another after being transferred. Also the transitioning has been very stressful. We ask that you agree with us in prayer, that God will open doors of opportunity in due season in this transitioning. We are children of faith and believe God's promises. We know that God watches over His word to perform it and we have the wonderful promises of God's healing and prosperity in His Word. Thank you again for this opportunity in sharing our faith with others via the internet through your ministry and knowing there is hope in Christ Jesus and His Word.

Thank you, Marsha, for your ministry...I've been blessed for almost 2 yrs by your daily meditations. This is my 1st time to visit this site & 2nd post reply. I agree that our(at least my) prayer requests are grounded in self pity and should be focused on building His Kingdom by supporting others. While reading your reminder of what prayer focus should be, I realized that for the last month or two, I have been obsessing over the possibility of being laid off after the 1st of the year and forgetting the fact that I DO have a job, currently. How self-centered, vane & untrusting is that?!?
I truly thank God that He has placed me in everyday life and uses me(when I let my ego get out of the way) as an example of His Light in a dark world. What I often forget is the joy derived from the realization that I have been God's unwitting messenger/tool/light. Sometimes it may be weeks/months or yrs before my role in His plan is revealed...sometimes never.
I pray that we all will think & act with the certainty thay we are a vital part of the Master's Plan, whether we are aware of it or not.

Thank you Marsha,

You are absolutely right about remembering Whose we are and our Rights and standing in Christ, and not being the victim of our circumstances or a victim of any kind. As Joyce Meyer has said for years, we can be either pitiful or powerful but we cannot be both. I want to be powerful not pitiful. I needed that word. It was like a glass of cold water splashed into my face, but in a good way. I choose to rise up and shake of the dust and stand in the position that God has given me. I am HIs daughter. Thank you!!!

Knowing that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places let's me know that I'm still alive and that the power that is in me is greater than the task before me. I've been under attack myself but have found that in the attack it's not the devil but God. The Spirit of the Living God has allowed the devil to use me as a testimony of His power and His Spirit and that allows me to grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Every battle ain't for you to fight. Just as Jacob wrestled with the angel, so must we and the battle really isn't ours, it belongs to the Lord and I'm glad I've got angels as spoken in Revelation 5, thousands upon thousands of angels warring on my behalf. The Bible said that there would come a time when we know not what to pray and that in those times, the spirit of the Lord would make intercession for us, praise God that my time is now. I'm more than a conqueror through the blood of the Lamb and I'm a winner. There is nothing that can separate me from the love of God, no demon, no angel, no height, no depth (paraphrasing) and I'm glad of that. The time has come for all saints of God to stand up against the enemy, for our war gear is set and the Lord has our backs. You might be down but you ain't out. You have the power to get up and if you don't we who are strong will hold you up.

I love the Lord and know that he loves me and that's enough. What will you believe even after you hear the Word, will you believe what the mind says, remember that it's a fact that we feel but feelings are not facts. They change every 1/4 of a second but the Word of God NEVER CHANGES. His love NEVER CHANGES and his spirit NEVER CHANGES. HE IS GOD AND THAT'S ENOUGH.

HAVE A BLESSED DAY IN JESUS CHRIST ALL YE SAINTS
