We are in a season of intense spiritual warfare – to protect the harvest of God’s blessings.

So it should be fairly obvious that we should be “overcoming” Satan’s attacks against us, and we have the proceeding word:

The Trumpet: Take up the sword of the Spirit and cut off the head of the serpent. Cut off his head before he strikes. But, if he has already struck, be like My servant Paul who unfastened the serpent and dropped it in the fire. Come forth in this season of victory. It has been spoken that you are in a season of warfare, but warfare always lead to victory in My people. If you are in My camp, you win. I am the Lord of Hosts, and as you go forth to fight the good fight of faith I will send My warring angels to fight on your behalf and even beside you, says the Lord. These are the days of the overcomer when you can overcome things that you have been unable to conquer even until now. These are also the days of the restoration of all things -- restoration of the power of the kingdom and the blessings of the kingdom. I am the King of the kingdom, and I will establish that which is rightfully Mine among My people. Rejoice for surely you shall have the victory.

The Trumpet: I encourage you to only believe in the Lord, your God. Believe in the Father of Lights who desires to give you the goodness of the kingdom. Believe in Me, the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for you and translated you into My kingdom. Believe in the power My Spirit to anoint you with overcoming victory. I say again, only believe, I will cause you to be the overcomers of this age. Your destiny has been preserved; it was established before the beginning of time. You are chosen to walk in power in this time when I will manifest Myself in divine ways among you, My people. The world shall see that there is a God of power, love and peace, a God who has victory over all the works of Satan. Take heart this day, mark it on your calendar, for I give to you a new season, which is called "The Season of the Overcomer." Only believe, says the Lord.

These are the days of the overcomer, but “Is Overcoming Important?” Do we need to make it a priority, or are we unconcerned regarding our part in the overcoming process?

Revelation 21:
5 Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."
6 And He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.
7 "He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
8 "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

Cowardly – fearful (overcome fear)
Unbelieving – doubt (overcome doubt), etc.

Is overcoming important? To overcome is to have victory over, to come out over (on top of), to rule over! To resist that which is against you until you have victory. To prevail over Satan and his attacks on all levels. We are to be like Jesus.

John 16: 33 "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Okay, so He has overcome the world and all that is in the world, i.e. the devil and the draw of worldliness. But, what is He saying?

He is saying that I did it; I expect you to do it also. But, how? By the power of the Holy spirit in you – the same way Jesus did.

Acts 10: 38 "how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
The word “overcome” that Jesus used means to overcome, conquer, prevail and get the victory. Live victoriously!

The World (its ruler is Satan)
John 12: 31 "Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out.

Worldly people ruled by the anti-christ spirit:
John 8: 23 And He said to them, "You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.

1 John 4: 4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.

1 John 5: 4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world––our faith.
5 Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

James 4: 4 Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
5 Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, "The Spirit who dwells in us yearns jealously"?

Romans 12: 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

We must overcome the draw of the world around us that can cause us to compromise our Christian life.

John 12: 25 "He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
26 "If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.

Your primary home is not this world that your body live in; it is the spirit world in the heavenly places with Christ.

Romans 8:
5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the
law of God, nor indeed can be.
8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.
10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His
Spirit who dwells in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors––not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.
13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

Your overcoming ability comes through the power of the Holy Spirit (v-13).

Galatians 5: 16-17 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

We must learn to live in the spirit world, connected to Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, and then we can also live in this world as we are walking in the power of the Spirit.

Galatians 5: 24-25 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Maintain spiritual life – faith, trusting in God – keeps you connected to His power. Unbelief, negativity and sin disconnects you from the life force of the Holy Spirit.

The prophetic word has promised us that we are in a season of overcoming in which the Lord will empower us to overcome all things. (the prophetic word)

Ask for and believe in anointing for this season that will cause you to be an overcomer!

Bill

It has been some time and still you keep increasing.....I knew it was you on Christian Forums -I knew your signature and I saw where His power dwells in you.

This time I keep seeing you in the midst of an immense battle - this is your intercessory prayer life, you are wrestling for nations in Prayer.

Jeremiah 51:27 Lift up a banner in the land! Blow the trumpet among the nations! Prepare the nations for battle.....

Judges 6:34 Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet, summoning the Abiezrites to follow him.

Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet.....

....and how you have blown the Trumpet....and the sound travels ever onwards.

Overcoming. Absolutely. You have gazed up through the gates, Bill and dared to write down the things you have seen and so the things you have seen will not be taken away from you.

Luke 10:42 "but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen the better course, and it will not be taken away from her."

Bill,

Thank you for posting this very encouraging and insightful word. I am rejoicing in His promised victory and restoration which is soon to manifest.

"...These are also the days of the restoration of all things -- restoration of the power of the kingdom and the blessings of the kingdom. I am the King of the kingdom, and I will establish that which is rightfully Mine among My people. Rejoice for surely you shall have the victory." (Quote from the Trumpet word the Lord gave you).

Blessings to you and Marsha! :D

Appreciate you and Marsha...and this Word regarding overcoming.
While listening to your recent series on the Three Spiritual realms, i heard you say that you might come under attack for teaching what you were bringing forth. Wanted to say Thank you both, for your labors of love in feeding His sheep....You really do love Him.
Praise God you both are overcomers!

"while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal."
2Cor. 4:18 NASB
