I have been seeing a lot of "words" lately on how we as a church need to cleanse ourselves in preparation for the time in which we are now entering. Whether these are true words or not I do not know, but I would like to share a few directions from the Lord on this matter.

Exo 19:10 And Jehovah said to Moses, Go to the people and sanctify them today and tomorrow. And let them wash their clothes. And be ready for the third day. For on the third day Jehovah will go down before the eyes of all the people on the mountain of Sinai.

Exo 19:16 And on the third day, it being morning, it happened: There were thunders and lightnings, and a heavy cloud on the mountain, and the sound of a ram's horn, very strong! And all the people in the camp trembled.

This pattern establishes something that is very relevant for our time as well. Many know and understand that the third day is symbolic for the third 1000 year period from Christ, which we have entered into. The command of the Lord was to wash your garments, garments that represent salvation (breeches) and righteousness (gown or tunic).

For those who can understand, this is speaking about being found in Christ. There are many references to this from Paul, who declares that Christ in you is the hope of Glory (Col 1). The great mystery of God is partially revealed in the first coming and wholly revealed in the second for those who have learned to celebrate the feasts in their fulfillment. We are coming now to the manifestation of the Feast of Tabernacles, just like those 2000 years ago celebrated the manifestation of the Feast of Weeks in the upper room. There has been a natural completion of Passover at the cross of Christ, there has been a manifestation of the Feast of Weeks at the upper room, and now many shall see a manifestation of Tabernacles with the emergence of the sons of God.

But look ! The whole congregation trembled, even for the fear of death. This is the natural response of the carnal mind. Notice that the Lord comes down "before the eyes" of the congregation, but something powerful must happen to us if this is the case. Behold we are transformed from glory to glory by beholding Him face to face. When you look at someone in the face, you see a reflection in the person's eye. That reflection is you! So when the Lord comes before your eye, you begin to see yourself in Him. This is the mystery of the gospel.

Keep in mind that there are two days of preparation. This my friends is the time of Pentecost. Not in the sense of pentecostal church, but in the sense of cleansing of the garment. The pentecostal age lasted two days, or 2000 years. Since the upper room, the Spirit has been with us as an earnest of things to come. Preparing and cleansing all those who would receive Him. Anyone entering that cleansing will be no means separated from the third day events.

If you consider the symbolism, we are the garment of God. Is it not Christ in us? YES! That is more realistic and direct, but Paul spoke in similar terms by exhorting us to put on incorruption. This is part of the fulfillment of Tabernacles and the manifestation that we will see in the coming days..


1Co 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

So the culmination of the this move of the spirit, the thing that must now come as we leave the Age of Pentecost (the church age - 40 jubilees) is that death must be overcome. Friends, that is why death is struggling this moment to reign in every aspect of our lives. Death's time is very short with regard to the sons of God.

1Co 15:54 But when this corruptible shall put on incorruption, and this mortal shall put on immortality, then will take place the Word that has been written, "Death was swallowed up in victory."

Sadly, the church, the immature believer has almost no clue what time we are standing in. The children of Israel trembled at the sight of the Lord upon the mountain. They told Moses to talk to God for them or else they would die. It was very different before that day came. They all wanted to obey and gave Moses their word, but when the time came they recoiled in fear.

Exo 20:18 And all the people saw the thunders, and the lightnings, and the sound of the ram's horn, and the smoking mountain. And the people looked, and they trembled, and they stood from a distance. And they said to Moses, You speak with us, and we will hear. And let us not speak with God, that we not die.

This is the pattern for the pentecostal church. The Lord came down upon the mountain at the time of the Feast of Weeks (pentecost) and established the pattern to hear and to obey. Because they refused, they were never prepared to go on into the Promised Land a few months later during Tabernacles. As a result, the stayed in the desert 40 years (the number of pentecost) and entered at the time of Passover. Like today, most Christians are trying to enter the new thing of God through a Passover mentality. It will never work. Sorry, but it is clear. It is only through the hearing of the voice of God that one can walk in obedience. It is only by way of a message through the death of a male lamb, (the sounding of the shofar) that one has the outer shell cracked enough to receive the progression through the Spirit and ultimately maturation.

So what are the overcomers overcoming? The answer is found in Genesis. ---- DEATH! Just like Paul said. This is why we are surrounded with so much death. Does anyone realize that in the last few months, they have killed off 103 bankers and senior executives around the world? The system is corrupt and continues to bring much death (with its many sisters). Fear is overcoming fear and dread overcoming dread. People faint because their faith is weak. But not for the children of God. NO!

Heb 2:14 Since, then, the children have partaken of flesh and blood, in like manner He Himself also shared the same things, that through death He might cause to cease the one having the power of death, that is, the devil; and might set these free, as many as by fear of death were subject to slavery through all the lifetime to live.


The problem has always been death. It is not devils, it is not hell, it is not even sin for that matter (which does lead to death). The human problem is death. "In the day that you eat of it, you shall surely die....." and therefore death entered the world. Men seek to overcome death through money and through science and through medicine and whatever. Even if you cheat death, you have by no means overcome it. Our world's circumstances are now forcing us to face the real problem.... DEATH and the fear of it. The fear of death led us into slavery as the writer of Hebrews indicates. This is why the world has been ensalved to Babylon now and virtually no one is exempt. Therefore, he who has an ear, let them understand that by the same degree of suffering, the glory of God will be revealed in them that overcome death through the one that has the power over death.

Children, do not seek to cleanse yourselves by your own strength. That is a slap in Christ's face. Seek to be found in the One who has overcome the powers that dominate this world. Everything else then falls into place.
