Thank you very much Marsha. One one of the problem that I've experienced when reading some of the scriptures, was understanding what they really mean or what God is saying to us, but on this site there's also a commentry which will help to understand what the scripture really means.

Marsha,
Thank you for letting us know about this very helpful Bible reading plan (http://www.oneyearbibleonline.com/). I was following another reading plan, but I like this one better, as one reads a portion from the Old Testament, the New Testament, and Psalms and Proverbs each day.

For any that have not yet started on a Bible reading plan, be encouraged to do so and you will be greatly blessed. :)

Psalm 1:1-3 (NASB)
1How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
2But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night.
3He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers.

Joshua 1:8 (NASB)
This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.

Hi guy's I'm new to this forum and to Christ. I got saved 6 weeks ago, I've been fasting praying and reading scripture loving the new relationship with my Lord, however I'm still very ignorant with the scripture. I was wondering if anybody knows or has heard the term Bible fast. It's where I eat, read the entire Bible and then I can eat again after I finish the Bible.

Many of us at Faith Tabernacle read the Bible through every year. We believe that it is vital for us to know the Word of God for ourselves to keep from being deceived by doctrines of men.

Here is a link that you can use to read the One-Year Bible online. http://www.oneyearbibleonline.com/

Which version is it?

I think you can choose whatever version you like. I, personally, have read KJV, NLT, Amplified, NIV, NAB, and NKJV all the way through, and I like NKJV because it stays with the KJV in it's interpretation, but doesn't read like Shakespeare. Each of the translations has added to the strength of my spiritual life, however. The Gospel message comes through loud and clear in all of these versions.
