January 7, 2005
In John the 16th chapter and verse 13 the Lord Jesus Christ tells us that the Holy Spirit "will tell you things to come." I have sought the Lord regarding the things that He would have us know for 2005. The following is that which was revealed that I am to share at this time.
The Jubilee
The Lord has continued to speak of a special Jubilee for 2005. The significance of the Jubilee is found in Leviticus 25. The Grand Jubilee took place in 1998, 50 years after Israel became a nation in 1948. The Special Jubilee that we are entering into is a "Sabbath of solemn rest," seven years from 1998.
The sum total of the numbers in 2005 is seven. Genesis 2:1-3 tells us that God rested on the seventh day of creation, and He "blessed the seventh day." The number seven is God's number of perfection and completion and takes place in "rest." As we enter into a place of rest in the Lord in this coming year, we will receive His Jubilee blessings.
2004 was a year of turmoil because of God's shaking.
Hebrews 12:27 Now this, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.
2004 was a year of separation. The Lord shook His Church so that the unrighteous would be separated from the righteous. He has torn down in 2004, but 2005 will be a year of restoration and rebuilding (Hosea 6:1-2).Those who have remained faithful to the Lord will now enter a time of restoration as they come into the "rest of the Lord" in 2005. Resting in God's presence will quicken our faith to receive His grace. This will be a year of liberty and prosperity for the true worshipers of the Lord, those who worship in "spirit and in truth."
Great Grace
Acts 4:33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.
The year 2005 will be a year of continued great grace (empowerment) for those who by faith access it. Romans 5:2 tells us that "we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand." Those who believe this statement in the word of God will receive the anointing of great grace (resurrection power) in this season. Five (of 2005) is the number of divine grace, and it shall come to us through the anointing (oil) of this year. The oil of this season is Spikenard, which represents resurrection power that comes through intimate relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. This relationship produces exuberant adoration and brings forth extravagant worship. This anointing will produce kingdom life, which will be demonstrated in deliverance and healing.
Psalms 5 and 25
The Lord referred me to Psalm 5 and Psalm 25 as two witnesses that reveal the blessings of the Special Jubilee. Psalm 5 identifies two groups of people -- the righteous and the unrighteous. The righteous (true worshipers) will receive God's favor (grace and blessings).
Psalm 5:1 Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my meditation.
2 Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray.
3 My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up.Psalm 5:7 But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple.
Psalm 5:11 But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name Be joyful in You.
12 For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.
Those who enter God's rest will be liberated from the curses of the unrighteous. They will enter into a new level of worship that will cause them to shout for joy, and they will be surrounded by the favor of the Lord. Each of us should read and meditate on Psalm 25 in its entirety. However, I will focus only on several scriptures so that this writing doesn't get too long.
Psalm 25:1 To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul.
2 O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me.
3 Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed; Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.
4 Show me Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths. One of the blessings of this season will be a new-found ability (grace) to trust in the Lord. Additionally, many will now learn to be taught by the Lord so that they don't have to rely solely upon man (1 John 2:26-27). Those who wait on the Lord, that is enter His rest will also receive God's prosperity (provision) in this season.
Psalm 25:12 Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses.
13 He himself shall dwell in prosperity, And his descendants shall inherit the earth.
14 The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant. The covenant promises of God will be "yes and amen" to those who faithfully enter the Jubilee rest of the Lord, and this is our prayer:
Psalm 25:21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for You.
The Fifth Gift
The fifth gift of the Holy Spirit listed in 1 Corinthians chapter 12 is the working of miracles. This will be a season of the manifestation of this gift. Miracles will occur that totally change the adverse circumstances that many find themselves in. One of the benefits of the Jubilee is debt cancellation (Leviticus 25:13-28). All kinds of miracles will occur in the Body of Christ this year. As we believe for the manifestation of this gift people will be delivered, healed, and set free from bondages, debt and many other obstacles that hinder the liberty of the saints.
The Fifth Be-attitude
Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.
The merciful are those who forgive. Forgiveness must take place if one desires to receive the favor of the Lord in 2005. We must forgive and forget the transgressions of others if we are to move into the blessings. (Matthew 6:14-15 and Philippians 3:13-14)
The Fifth Feast
The fifth feast is the Feast of Trumpets. This will be a year of the blowing of the trumpet (prophetic word). Words will come forth that reveal the mysteries of the end of the age. God's purposes will be revealed through the proceeding word of God. Prophetic teaching will bring revelation to the Body of Christ of the times and seasons in which we live.
Revelation 5:5 But one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."
The Lamb of God will open His book and break the seals of revelation. These seals will be broken, and the revelation of them will be given in visions, dreams, and divine visitations.
This is the fifth year of the Third Day Church. We will witness the maturing of this Church in 2005. The "spirit of error" in some so-called third-day ministries will be more fully revealed in this coming year as the young eagles take flight.
The Young Eagles
2005 will be a year when the young eagles, new prophetic voices, begin to spread their wings and take flight. A changing of the guard is about to take place in the prophetic community. (http://ft111.com/dayoftheeagle.htm)
The spirit of self-exaltation has become rooted in the prophetic ranks, and God will not stand for it. The Lord has had His young eagles in a place of preparation, and they will now be released. The prophetic word that comes forth from the young eagles will be powerful and revealing with regard to the season that we are now living in.
The End Times
We are witnessing the fulfillment of the written end-time judgments, which our Lord revealed.
Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you.
5 "For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
6 "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
8 "All these are the beginning of sorrows. The sorrows (birth pangs) are increasing in intensity and will continue to do so as we move to the end of the age. We have recently witnessed the manifestation of that which is written in the gospel of Luke both here in America and in southeast Asia.
Luke 21:25 "And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring."
Even though these tragedies have come upon mankind and produced great sorrow, they also produce great hope.
Luke 21:27 "Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 "Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near."As we journey through this year may we each keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. Help us, Lord, to enter into the rest that you have provided for us.
Hebrews 4:1 Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.
Remember the Lord's coming has never been so close -- "Even so come, Lord Jesus!" I have declared that which I have heard. May you be blessed in 2005 abundantly above all that you can ask or think.
Isaiah 48:6 "You have heard; See all this. And will you not declare it? I have made you hear new things from this time, Even hidden things, and you did not know them.
