Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation,
and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

The Lord has given us the revelation of spiritual warfare to this generation. The reality of the battle that we are involved in has been revealed by the Spirit of the Lord. The final generation of the Church Age will be the most militant Christians to have ever lived.

This Army of the Lord is described by the Prophet Joel as, “A people come great and strong, the likes of whom has never been” (Joel 2:2). These people are the Army of the Lord (Joel 2:11). They are a people who have no fear of the enemy. Read Joel 2:1-11 and then determine to be one of these “mighty men” of the Lord’s Army.

The Christian who does not learn to fight against Satan’s kingdom is destined to live a defeated life. This ought not be so, brethren. We are supposed to live the victorious Christian life. We are supposed to be “more than conquerors” and “overcomers.”

However, we will not be overcomers unless we learn to fight the good fight of faith against our enemy (Satan).

The weapons of our warfare are mighty because they are weapons that our God has given us. If we will use these weapons, then we shall obtain victory. The promise of the Lord is this:

2 Corinthians 2: 14 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

The purpose of this “War Council” material is to share with you the things the Lord has taught us about spiritual warfare. We have used these principles and found them to be very effective. We are not to be ignorant of Satan’s devices. If we understand how he works against us, then we can effectively defeat his schemes.

Our prayer is that you would answer the call to join The Lord’s Army, and begin to live the victorious Christian life.

19 But you are cast out of your grave Like an abominable branch, Like the garment of those who are slain, Thrust through with a sword, Who go down to the stones of the pit, Like a corpse trodden underfoot.
20 You will not be joined with them in burial, Because you have destroyed your land And slain your people. The brood of evildoers shall never be named.
21 Prepare slaughter for his children Because of the iniquity of their fathers, Lest they rise up and possess the land, And fill the face of the world with cities."
22 "For I will rise up against them," says the LORD of hosts, "And cut off from Babylon the name and remnant, And offspring and posterity," says the LORD.
