January 8, 2006
In John the 16th chapter and verse 13 the Lord Jesus Christ tells us that the Holy Spirit "will tell you things to come." I sought the Lord regarding the things that He would have us know for 2006. The following is that which has been revealed.
The New Season
On the Feast of Trumpets 2005 we entered into a new nine-year cycle. We will find ourselves being thrust (by the Holy Spirit) into that new season with more revelation of the season in 2006. The sum of the numbers, 2006, is eight, and eight is God's number of new beginnings.Isaiah 48:6 "You have heard; See all this. And will you not declare it? I have made you hear new things from this time, Even hidden things, and you did not know them.
2006 will be a year of continuation of the Jubilee that was prophesied (http://ft111.com/lookingahead.htm). The purpose of the Jubilee is to remove all bondage from God's people and to restore to them that which has been lost or stolen (by Satan). The great grace (empowerment) that began to manifest in 2005 will only increase in 2006. It will be a year of Divine Intervention. In this year, the Lord our God will intervene in situations and circumstances to vindicate His servants by establishing His justice. His justice will manifest in various ways, and His servants will be vindicated from the purposes of the enemy. The reproach will be rolled away, and God's justice will prevail.
Watch for defining moments that break forth on your spirit. Those will be moments in which the Holy Spirit bears witness to your spirit that the victory is on the way. When those moments come, wrap your faith around them, and continue to fight the good fight of faith -- victory is assured!
The Sixth Gift (1 Corinthians 12:10)
In 2006 we will witness an elevation in the gift of prophecy in the Body of Christ. The past nine-year cycle was the "season of the eagle" -- symbol of prophetic gifting. In that season the Lord raised up and matured some prophets who will begin to reveal hidden things. The generic prophetic words of the past will give way to revelatory words of great power.
Prophecy will once again be as it was in the days of the prophets of old when the prophetic word revealed God's purposes and established His kingdom here on earth. The Church will be directed to change its views from one of a "church" mentality to kingdom consciousness. This will take place because God is preparing His people for the age to come.
Those who receive and apply the prophetic word will "have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come." (Hebrews 6:5)
Psalms 6 and 26
I believe the Psalms are prophetic for specific seasons that God brings us through. Psalms 6 and 26 will be activated by faith for those who need restoration and vindication in 2006. These Psalms are the two-edged sword for the faithful of God who have endured persecution and infirmity.
Psalm 6:1 O LORD, do not rebuke me in Your anger, Nor chasten me in Your hot displeasure.
2 Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am weak; O LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled.
3 My soul also is greatly troubled; But You, O LORD—how long?
4 Return, O LORD, deliver me! Oh, save me for Your mercies’ sake!
The curses of the enemy that have brought sickness and weakness will be broken, and this prayer for God's mercy will be answered.
Psalm 6:6 I am weary with my groaning; All night I make my bed swim; I drench my couch with my tears.
7 My eye wastes away because of grief; It grows old because of all my enemies.
8 ¶ Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity; For the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping.
9 The LORD has heard my supplication; The LORD will receive my prayer.
10 Let all my enemies be ashamed and greatly troubled; Let them turn back and be ashamed suddenly.
Psalm 26 is a prayer for vindication -- from persecutions, lies of accusation that have come from the wicked, and some so-called Christians. Vindication will come in 2006.
Psalm 26:1 Vindicate me, O LORD, For I have walked in my integrity. I have also trusted in the LORD; I shall not slip.
2 Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; Try my mind and my heart.
3 For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, And I have walked in Your truth.
4 I have not sat with idolatrous mortals, Nor will I go in with hypocrites.
5 I have hated the assembly of evildoers, And will not sit with the wicked.
Six is the number of man (the flesh). The court of the Lord will be opened, and He will make a judgment, which cannot be overturned.
Daniel 7:9 "I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated; His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire;
10 A fiery stream issued And came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to Him; Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him. The court was seated, And the books were opened.
Daniel 7:26 ‘But the court shall be seated, And they shall take away his dominion, To consume and destroy it forever.
27 Then the kingdom and dominion, And the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, Shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And all dominions shall serve and obey Him.’
Satan's dominion will be removed, and the curses against God's people will be broken. The result will be as it is written in:
Psalm 26:6 I will wash my hands in innocence; So I will go about Your altar, O LORD,
7 That I may proclaim with the voice of thanksgiving, And tell of all Your wondrous works.
8 LORD, I have loved the habitation of Your house, And the place where Your glory dwells.
9 Do not gather my soul with sinners, Nor my life with bloodthirsty men,
10 In whose hands is a sinister scheme, And whose right hand is full of bribes.
11 But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; Redeem me and be merciful to me.
12 My foot stands in an even place; In the congregations I will bless the LORD.
January through June
The Lord spoke the word "distillation" to me for the first half of 2006. The purpose for the distillation is to extract what is impure. We are filled with the water of the Holy Spirit (John 7:38), but sometimes the water becomes impure because of the defilement of our human spirit. This defilement affects the message that comes forth.
Water is heated to a boiling point when it is distilled. The steam produced releases pure water and leaves heavier materials such as minerals behind. This represents the carnality in our lives. In this process, the Lord is going to turn up the heat (baptism of fire) and cause us to leave our negative attitudes and wrong motives behind. The Lord will expose our flesh, our carnal thoughts, and challenge us to come into a state of purity, a vessel that produces clean water.
July through December
The word that the Lord gave me for the second half of 2006 is "amplification." Those who willingly endure the process of distillation will increase in power. To amplify means to expand, to increase the amount of, to make louder, to cause DNA to undergo amplification, to expand one's ideas or remarks.
This expansion of DNA (divine nature attributes) will cause us to be more Christ-like in our nature (personality).
2 Peter 1:2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,
3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,
4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
This amplification will turn up the power of God (verse 3) in our lives so that we will be equipped to enter into the new "season of the horse."
The Season of the Horse
The prophetic word has revealed that the new nine-year season that we have entered into will be known as the season of the horse. The horse symbolizes the power of the end of the age. It represents apostolic power for war against Satan's kingdom.
The image of the horse is formed in my mind from Revelation 19:11-21. In that passage of scripture both Jesus (King of Kings and Lord of Lords) and the saints are depicted as riding on white horses. The color white denotes righteousness that releases God's power for war against Satan's kingdom.
The full revelation of "the horse" will begin to unfold in the first months of 2006. This revelation will come to prepare the Body of Christ for the new season that us upon us.
May the Great and Mighty God that we serve bless you abundantly in 2006. May the Lord grace our understanding and reveal our purpose in the times and seasons that we live in.
